How to create a RVO

Prerequisites:

• A Dataset Profile must be available in the grid of the panel Datasets Manager. If no, follow How to create a Dataset Profile to create and load a profile named M2.
  

Follow these instructions to create a RVO, based on acPredefined dataset profile named "M2" and AVO Arrows:

1. Create a new document by choosing in "File" menu or toolbar the command New.
   
2. The wizard "New Document Wizard" is open. Let the default options on each step of the wizard, and click the "Finish" button on the last step.
3. The new document is created, named here "NewDocument1".
4. Select in AVO Selection panel the AVO Arrows entry.
   
5. Its properties are displayed in AVO Properties panel, so enter the following values:
   
   In Scalar Field or Vector Field, hold down few seconds its associated button to choose the value M2!Scalar or M2!Vector respectively.
6. Select in ROI Selection panel the ROI Box.
   
7. The ROI Box is displayed in the 3D visualization document View.
   
8. Its properties are displayed in ROI Properties panel, so enter the following values:
   
9. In "RVOs" menu or toolbar, click Create to create the RVO related to AVO and ROI properties.
   
10. In 3D Visualization document View, the created RVO is displayed.
    

There are also some post created RVO actions:

• In the Undo/Redo Manager Panel, the Create RVO command has been logged.
  
• In the RVOs Manager Panel, the Created RVO is displayed in grids of Active Scene and All tabs, the column Selected at true.
